Treasury Report: Allison
presented the group with our Annual Inservice Finance Report for 2010 along
with a recap of ’09, ’08 & ‘07’s Inservice Finance Report.
2010
Inservice Finance Report
Income $16,625
Expenses $15,089
Gross profit $1,707
December
2010 balance was $12,379.10
This
balance is about two to three thousand less than the previous three years. There was some discussion that the current
economy has probably played a big role in some of our member schools not being
able to attend the conference.
Membership Dues: Membership Invoices for member dues were
handed out at the meeting. Our yearly
member dues are $35/director. If you did
not receive yours, please email Allison and she will forward one to you. aacejka@yahoo.com
Approval of November 2010 minutes: Confirmation was made on the motion approved
in November of raising the Conference Coordinator salary to $3,000.00.
New Business:
A.
Question posed – “Should there be compensation for a Conference Assistant?”
Discussion
– Due to the recent approved raise in compensation for the Conference
Coordinator position and with the economy in the state it is, this may not be
the year to compensate a Conference Assistant.
Motion
– “Due to the recent increases in the Conference Coordinator’s compensation we will
not compensate a Conference Assistant at this time. The Conference Coordinator is free to solicit
help in any capacity but at his/her own expense.”
Motion
was seconded and approved
B. Director’s Day Out or “A Day of
Resourcing” – Schedule is attached to the minutes
Topic for Discussion:
“How
Do You Beat the ‘Winter Blahs’ at Your School?”
Members shared some of their
experiences and ideas.
