ECCDA Minutes – November 21, 2008

Approval of Minutes for August meeting

 

Treasurer Report  – Balance of $14,002 (10/31/08)

                                 Inservice Income $18,220

                                 Inservice Expenses - $14,595

-          Annual Dues are due to Barbara (she will be sending out invoices, and can be sent to her at 16037 Whitestone Dr.  Parker 80134 ($35 for the Director only to belong and $70 for both the Director and Assistant to belong from a school)

 

Officer Elections – It was voted on and approved to let President and Vice President be two year terms (therefore, Kay and Joy are still in these positions).  The Treasurer will be up for election November 2009.  The Secretary was up for election, since no one else wanted the position Melissa was re-elected for another two year term, her position will be up for election November 2010.

 

It was brought up to raise membership fees to $50, but since we did so well on the Inservice this will be revisited next year.

 

The directory was reviewed and changes made, I have attached the updated form.  If you need to  make changes please e-mail them to Melissa (snownerds@comcast.net)

 

Options for Inservice participation were discussed.  The option to be voted on in January will be that all Directors will pay a discounted rate of $20, get to attend two sessions, help with pre-committees, set up/clean up and help day of Inservice as needed.

 

Joy made a up a brief list of what membership to ECCDA entails and this will be handed out to all members.  There were a couple of changes to her document, as soon as it is finalized everyone will get a copy.

 

 

New Hostess Schedule (Responsible for lunch – up to $8/person, can be catered & devotional & tour of school after meeting)

            January 16th – Smoky Hill United Methodist

            February 20th – Director Inservice (Location TBA)

            March 20th – St. Andrew CLC

            April 17th – Centennial Christian Learning Ctr.

            June 19th – Restaurant TBA (Southeast Christian to choose)

            September 18th – St. John’s

            October 2nd – Inservice at Cherry Creek Presbyterian PS

            November 20th – Eastern Hills  Preschool

 

ECCDA Director nametags will be looked into by Melissa, if you need one please let Melissa know (snownerds@comcast.net)

 

Lorna did a brief Inservice evaluation, there will be more discussion in January.  It was decided that each Director will get a personal folder with all of their school’s nametags and a list of what they are responsible for that day.

 

New schools – Please e-mail possible new members name,e-mail & phone number to Melissa at snownerds@comcast.net
